Introdution

The following recommendations are for everyday care and maintenance for your Concreate surfaces. Concreate surfaces should be properly maintained on a regular and frequent basis to prevent buildup of soil, grease, residue, soap detergents, sealers, dampness, liquids, etc., to keep the surface clean and lessen slippery conditions.

Dr. Bronner’s:
Dr. Bronner’s 18-in-1 Pure-Castile Soaps are good for just about any cleaning task. Simple Green:
Simple Green All-Purpose Cleaner can be used on any washable surface, from floors and walls to laundry stains. It removes the toughest stains including dirt, grease, oil, pet stains, coffee and juice stains, lipstick, blood, adhesives and much more.
WOCA Maintenance Oil:
WOCA Maintenance Oil may be used on all oiled floors. Maintenance Oil is suitable to preserve and enhance the durability of all oiled surfaces.

Commercial Care and Maintenance Regimen

DAILY

Sweep or vacuum loose dirt and debris from the floor surface.
Mop entire floor with Dr. Bronner’s All-One in proper dilution.
This should remove any noticeable wear patterns. If further stain removal is required, use Simple Green degreaser in proper dilution. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
Dry’ mop floor with a damp mop/rag to remove any excess liquid.

MONTHLY

Sweep or vacuum loose dirt and debris from the floor surface.
Scrub entire floor area with Simple Green degreaser in proper dilution to remove stains and noticeable wear patterns.
Mop floor again clean water and a relatively ‘dry’ mop to remove excess liquid from the surface.
Allow surface to dry completely.
Restore surface sheen with Woca Maintenance Oil. (Follow application instructions for Woca Maintenance Oil.)
Wait 8 hours for Woca Maintenance Oil to set completely before resuming heavy duty use.
Return to regular weekly maintenance regimen.

EVERY SIX MONTHS or ANNUALLY (DEPENDING UPON USAGE)

Sweep or vacuum loose dirt and debris from the floor surface.
Scrub entire floor area with Simple Green degreaser in proper dilution to remove stains and noticeable wear patterns.
Mop floor again clean water and a relatively ‘dry’ mop to remove excess liquid from the surface.
Allow surface to dry completely.
Restore surface sheen with Woca Maintenance Oil. (Follow application instructions for Woca Maintenance Oil.)
Wait 8 hours for Woca Maintenance Oil to set.
Apply a second coat of Woca Maintenance Oil as required.
Wait 8 hours for Woca Maintenance to set.
Apply a third coat, repeating the process, as necessary for high-traffic floors.
Return to regular weekly maintenance regimen.

Residential Care and Maintenance Regimen

DAILY

Sweep or vacuum loose dirt and debris from the floor surface.
Spot-mop or clean any stains or affected areas to avoid permanent damage.
Dr. Bronner’s should be sufficient to remove daily stains. If further stain removal is required, use Simple Green degreaser in proper dilution. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
Dry’ mop affected areas with a damp mop/rag to remove any excess liquid.

WEEKLY

Stain Removal // Other Do’s & Dont’s

DO

Always test in small inconspicuous area while using a new cleaner to ensure compatibility.
Sweep or vacuum loose dirt and debris daily to avoid damaging or scratching the product surface.
Remove stains as quickly as possible. Mustard, ink, coffee and lipstick/make-up should be removed as soon as possible.
Use a two bucket system for cleaning: one bucket with diluted cleaning solution and a separate bucket with clean rinsing water. (Especially for very dirty areas or large spills.)
Remove excess liquid from the surface after cleaning.

DON’T

Leave stains on surface for more than 12 hours. After this, it becomes very difficult to remove stains, especially on the lighter colors.
Use cleaners containing ammonia, bleach, abrasives, or other hazardous/polluting compounds.
Scrape or scrub any ‘stuck-on’ spills or stains. Instead, soak the area with warm water on a wet rag to loosen anything that is adhered to the surface.
Let water stand or puddle on the surface.
DO NOT APPLY TAPE DIRECTLY TO THE SURFACE. Applying tape of any kind directly onto Concreate surface will result in damage to the finish. Damage caused by tape application is not covered in our warranty.
